Deadline writes that GLEE's Jane Lynch will star in CBS's upcoming comedy pilot ANGEL FROM HELL.

In ANGEL FROM HELL, "when the larger-than-life, brassy and flamboyant Amy (Lynch) enters Allison's life and claims to be her guardian angel, they form an unlikely friendship, and Allison can't be sure if Amy is an angel or just nuts."

Tad Quill is writing and executive producing for CBS TV Studios.

Emmy winner Jane Lynch just finished her run as 'Sue Sylvester' in Fox's musical dramedy GLEE. She has also hosted NBC's HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT and appeared on TV in TWO AND A HALF MEN, PARTY DOWN, THE L WORD, EASTY TO ASSEMBLE, CRIMINAL MINDS and more.

Lynch made her Broadway debut as 'Miss Hannigan' in the 2012 revival of ANNIE. Before that, she appeared off-Broadway in LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE and THE REAL LIVE BRADY BUNCH AND THE REAL LIVE GAME SHOW.
