Danny Masterson Exits Netflix Comedy THE RANCH Following Sexual Assault Claims

Variety reports that Danny Masterson has exited the Netflix comedy THE RANCH following claims of sexual assault. In a statement released this morning, a Netflix spokesperson commented, "As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of 'The Ranch. Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him."

The news comes amid four separate claims by women who accused the actor of rape. The allegations are currently under investigation by both The Los Angeles County District Attorney and Los Angeles Police Department.

Part four of "The Ranch" is set to debut on Netflix on December 15th. Additional episodes are set to premiere some time in 2018. It is unclear how many episodes will debut this month and how many will be held until next year. Masterson is not expected to appear in any episodes released after December 15th. Masterson also serves as executive producer credit on the series.

About the show: Being a pro athlete didn't pan out for Colt. Now he's helping his dad and brother keep the ranch afloat, and figuring out how he fits into the family. The series stars Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, and Sam Elliott.
