Carmen Villalobos & More to Host 2017 PREMIOS TU MUNDO on Telemundo

Telemundo announced today the official hosts of the 6th annual PREMIOS TU MUNDO (Your World Awards), the only entertainment awards show on Spanish-language TV exclusively based on fan votes. "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso" lead actress Carmen Villalobos, "Un Nuevo Dia" co-host Daniel Sarcos and "El Señor de los Cielos" lead actress Fernanda Castillo will share hosting duties at the highly anticipated awards ceremony. Fans have until August 15 to vote for their favorite actors, musical artists, TV personalities, fan clubs and influencers at premiostumundo.com/vota. "Premios Tu Mundo" will broadcast live on Thursday August 24, 2017 at 8pm/7c from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida, with a lead-in one-hour pre-show special "La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo" at 7pm/6c. Both programs will air simultaneously on Universo, the fastest growing Spanish-language entertainment cable network in the U.S., and in 24 countries throughout the Americas on Telemundo Internacional. Tickets for the awards ceremony are available at Ticketmaster.com and the AA Arena box office.

Carmen Villalobos is one of the best-known Colombian actresses on U.S. Hispanic television. Villalobos gained international exposure with her starring role in 2008 as Catalina Santana in Telemundo's iconic "Sin Senos No Hay Paraiso," that catapulted her to fame and earned her an exclusive contract with the network. She has gone on to participate in over 10 Telemundo productions, including the first three seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Super Series™ "El Señor de Los Cielos." Villalobos, who boasts over 12 million followers on social media, recently reprised her role as Catalina Santana in the new season of "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso," which premiered July 25 at 9pm/8c on Telemundo.

Daniel Sarcos is one of the most versatile media personalities in the Hispanic entertainment world. Since February 2011, he is a co-host of Telemundo's morning show ¨Un Nuevo Dia.¨ Sarcos has previously hosted the "Billboard Latin Music Awards" on Telemundo.

Fernanda Castillo, a native of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, has appeared in a number of successful television, film and theater productions in her native Mexico and the United States, including "Clap," "La Fea Mas Bella," "Destilando Amor," "Teresa" and "Amor Bravio" on TV, theater roles in plays such as "Cabaret," "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar" and "Los Monologos de la Vagina" and on the big screen in "Rumbos Paralelos," "No Manches Frida," "Que Pena Tu Vida," "Deficit" and "Corazon Marchito." The lovely and talented actress currently stars in the Emmy Award-winning Super Series™ "El Señor de los Cielos," in the role of Mónica Robles.

The 2017 edition of "Premios Tu Mundo" will feature 20 competing categories, in addition to three special awards, for a total of 23 awards. Top nominees include CNCO, Carlos Ponce, Carolina Gaitan and David Chocarro. In addition, the first list of artists to perform at the awards show was recently announced and features Pepe Aguilar and Angela Aguilar, Miguel Bose, Christian Nodal, Gerardo Ortiz, Ozuna, and Olga Tañon.
