BREAKING BAD is definitely not returning.
Empire News, a satirical news site, recently posted a story that claimed Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, and Aaron Paul would be reuniting for a sixth season of the now-concluded AMC series. Paul, however, has now commented, putting the rumors to rest, and disappointing some (possibly) gullible fans.
Paul tweeted: This link really made me laugh. And also made me think that I had some work to do. Breaking Bad season 6 everyone. http://bit.ly/1t4NtvM."
And then:
"It's not happening friends."
AMC's Breaking Bad capped its historic run in September 2013, delivering a series-record 10.3 million viewers, including 6.7 million adults 18-49. Ratings for the final episode were up 300% over the previous season's finale, demonstrating the remarkable growth of the iconic series.
