Stage and screen star Finn Wittrock takes viewers behind the scenes of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW!
One of the new leading players this season on hit FX horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW is Finn Wittrock, who portrays frustrated high society mama's boy Dandy Mott, and a new behind the scenes interview is now available to view.
"I think that Dandy thinks of himself as a freak, even though he has copious wealth and everything that he could ever want, he is basically an outsider even though there is nothing physically wrong with him," Wittrock observes.
Wittrock adds, "He's going to wind up taking out that frustration in other ways."
Wittrock concludes, "I will say, every new script I get really surprises me because it takes the character in a direction that I wasn't usually expecting, and it's way better than what I was expecting."
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters and Jaimie Brewer, with new cast members Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock and Patti LaBelle joining the ranks for the new season.
The official description of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW is as follows: "American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."
