Sony/ATV Appoints Ian Holder as Vice President, Creative

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has appointed Ian Holder as Vice President, Creative. In his new role he will be based in New York and report to Sony/ATV SVP, Head of East Coast A&R Rich Christina. Holder previously spent 10 years at U.S. performing rights organization BMI where he was Director of Writer/Publisher Relations and his signings included Frank Ocean, Post Malone, Desiigner, Rae Sremmurd, Kiiara, MadeinTYO, Pusha-T, Action Bronson, Sage The Gemini, Plies, Tyga, Prodigy of Mobb Deep and Grammy-winning production team The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Rick Ross, Drake, Nas, 2 Chainz).

Prior to BMI, he worked in Columbia Records' A&R Department, while is the founder of the Artistic Reality Thru Search (A.R.T.S.) Music Business Program for high school teenagers. The program was piloted through the Facing History High School in Manhattan in 2011.
