The Inaugural REVOLT Music Conference took over Miami, Florida this weekend, with REVOLT Chairman Sean "Diddy" Combs leading a rousing keynote address entitled "#AskDiddy" in front of a packed house during a Gala Dinner at the Fountainebleau Miami Beach, offering invaluable career insight and advice to the standing-room-only crowd. The gala dinner included a classic performance by Ne-Yo.
Diddy presented his good friend and iconic industry executive
Jimmy Iovine with the "Started From the Bottom Now We're Here" Award, who accepted the award and spoke at length about his illustrious forty year career.
Iovine gave a riveting speech about the current state of music and the industry's ever-changing landscape. Said Iovine: "In your own way, reflecting your own musical passions, I do call upon all of you to find your way to innovate and be a part of music's future...We are no longer in the music business, but in the business of music."
