Ringo Starr will make a special appearance today, December 4 on Dave Stewart's and BiteSizeTV's "THE RINGMASTER," the first of its kind music variety show on the net (http://www.bitesizetv.com/#!/theringmaster).
Taped in front of a live audience at BiteSizeTV's brand new studio on Hollywood and Vine, the episode will feature Ringo Starr and Dave Stewart in a candid, wide ranging conversation. "THE RINGMASTER" is a one-hour, bi-weekly, multi-segmented party hosted by the iconic Grammy Award and Golden Globe winner Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart, whose company Weapons of Mass Entertainment created the Los Angeles-based show with BiteSizeTV's founder and CEO Ron Bloom.
The premiere episode of "THE RINGMASTER" (earlier this month) featured a surprise musical performance by Andy Garcia, who penned a song "Jamming with the Ringmaster" for the occasion. He was joined by legendary percussionist, Sheila E. as well as Ozomatli and the Dave Stewart Band and Choir. The episode also featured singer songwriter Judith Hill ("20 Feet from Stardom"), Somalian sister duo Faarrow and multitalented actor Elijah Kelley ("The Butler"). All the guests performed and then joined the party, being entertained by a steady flow of eye-popping sideshow performances from Lucha VaVOOM.
The show's second episode featured two time Grammy-Award winning singer Colbie Caillat (in an exclusive interview and sneak peek at her new single), a conversation with actor Peter Facinelli about his new comic book series, and an interview and performance from award-winning composer/producer Hans Zimmer with Dave Stewart. The show has featured musical performances from actor/singer/musician Drake Bell, internationally acclaimed violinist Ann Marie Calhoun and indie British singer/songwriter Carina Round.
Each episode is spearheaded by Stewart as the Ringmaster and his guest host Rita D'Albert--co-founder of Lucha VaVOOM, the world-renowned Mexican masked wrestling/burlesque/comedy troupe--along with unexpected antics from a unique cast of characters.
