The pop-rock song "What A Girl Is," with its impactful messages about real, relatable, and multi-dimensional girls, will have its music video television premiere TONIGHT, FEBRUARY 15 (8:00 p.m.) on Disney Channel. The song, performed by Dove Cameron, debuted in last week's episode of "Liv and Maddie," which received an outpouring of positive response from young viewers and parents for its empowering theme.

The music video features Dove Cameron (star of "Liv and Maddie") and Maker Studios' talent, Island Records' Christina Grimmie, nine-year-old rap artist "Baby Kaely," "MissRemiAshten," Alex Aiono and Cody Wise. The video was featured on several Maker Studios channels this week.

Paul DeBenedittis, Senior Vice President, Programming Strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide, said, "As television programmers we can have a strong influence in girls' PERCEPTION of the world and of themselves and we LEVERAGE that fact to give our young viewers inspiration to achieve their full potential." He continued, "For the first time, we extended our storyline and our reach through Maker Studios' popular young talent and are pleased with the collaboration's results."

The music video will also be made available on WATCH Disney Channel, HYPERLINK "http://Disney.com" DiSNEY.com and on the Radio Disney App on Sunday. The song is now available on iTunes.

In the episode entitled "Rate-A-Rooney," Liv Rooney (one of the identical twin characters played by Dove Cameron) performs the song to encourage her schoolmates to embrace what makes them unique after some classmates create a ratings system for girls' looks.

"What A Girl Is" was written by Mitch Allan and Nikki Leonti and produced by Mitch Allan (his credits include "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," and work with Faith Hill, Daughtry, Adam Lambert, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Jessie James, Delta Goodrem and Bowling For Soup).

"Liv and Maddie" is executive-produced by John D. Beck, Ron Hart, Andy Fickman, Betsy Sullenger and John Peaslee.
