Rock Opera Artist Alexander Kariotis celebrates the life of John Lennon with "Lennon in Heaven," a tribute music video shot on location in and around London's historic Abbey Road Studios. Witten and performed by Kariotis, "Lennon in Heaven" is an up-tempo and effervescent blend of his signature rock-meets-opera sound, which finds him musing about jamming alongside Lennon inside the pearly gates and the good deeds it would take to get him there. The video, directed by Todd Baxter chronicles Kariotis' once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit and work at Abbey Road Studios to record the track, where he is seen walking in the exact footsteps of Lennon and his Beatle bandmates (the London crosswalk made famous by the Beatles) and leaving his mark among the scores of musical legends that recorded there before him.

"This song really serves as homage to two of my greatest musical influences," explains Kariotis. "Not only does it convey John Lennon's ideals of peace, love and optimism, but it also pays tribute to my late brother, who inspired me to pursue a career in music, melding the two genres of rock and opera together."

Kariotis' career almost shattered, just as it was starting to flourish, after his brother Tony was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). Following his tragic passing at only 33, Alexander finally realized that he needed to achieve both of their dreams by becoming a rock opera artist.

Adds Kariotis, "This 59 day window of time, between Lennon's Oct. 9th birth date and Dec. 8thtragic death lends special meaning to this tribute song and only heightens my resolve to make every day count in the fight against ALS."

In addition to his own "ice bucket challenges," Kariotis had been performing the National Anthem at sporting events nation-wide to spread the word about the fight against ALS. For more information about Alexander Kariotis, visit: www.alexanderkariotis.com
