Actress and former talk show host, Sherri Shepherd stopped by CBS's THE TALK to discuss the possibility of returning to THE TALK show circuit. Shepherd says, "I do miss this, but I don't believe in going back. They gave me a great send-off...I'm looking forward, not behind me," but quickly added, "I would love to be a chocolate Ellen!"

Later, Shepherd discussed playing Chris Rock's ex-girlfriend in the new film "Top Five." She also reacts to Sheryl Underwood telling her, "You saved my life that day...when we were doing "Beauty Shop" together...I was done. I was going to quit [the business]." Shepherd responds, "Sheryl was the sweetest person in the world. She said she was going to quit and I said, 'You can't...The world needs you. You're funny. They need you...' and I think we prayed together and see!"

CBS's Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
