The Hollywood Reporter reports that British stage, TV and film actress Sarah Marshall has died at the age of 80. The daughter of noted actors Herbert Marshall and Edna Best passed away on Saturday, January 18th in Los Angeles following a long battle with cancer, her daughter-in-law, Trixie Flynn, said.
The actres had a starring role in Alfred Hitchcock Presents as "Poopsie" in the Season 6 episode "The Baby Blue Expression." Throughout the 1960s, she appeared in a variety of other television series. Some of those include The Twilight Zone episode "Little Girl Lost" (1962), the F Troop episode "Wrongo Starr and the Lady in Black" (1966), the Get Smart episode "Hubert's Unfinished Symphony" (1966), and the Star Trek episode "The Deadly Years" (1967).
She also guest starred in three episodes of NBC's Daniel Boone: "Cry of Gold" (1965), "Take the Southbound Stage" (1967), and "Hero's Welcome" (1968). Since the 1970s, Marshall had continued to perform in numerous television series and in several motion pictures.
