Synopsis:

Marrakech today. Majid is almost indifferent to the world that surrounds him, be it his landlord to whom he owes several months rent or the rumors on the streets that he wanders in riding his scooter. He lives only for his job, as a projectionist, and his passion for films. But when he learns that the owner of the theater where he works has decided to sell it, his whole life shatters in front of his eyes.

Najat Jellab was born in Casablanca in 1980. She grew up in Morocco and moved to France at the age of 13. She studied philosophy in Paris Sorbonne University before going to film school in Montreal where she graduated in 2004. Since then she's been writing and directing short films and documentaries.
