Avocados From Peru And California Walnuts To Participate In Walmart Wellness Day On July 21st With Superfood Salad In-Store Demos Nationwide

Avocados From Peru (AFP) has invited California Walnuts to join them in participating in Walmart Wellness Day on July 21 st by offering in-store demos in 1,900 locations. This is the first time ever that two nutrient-rich food brands have joined forces to offer in-store demos on Walmart Wellness Day. This event is the largest health fair in the country and will provide thousands of children and families with access to various health services including health screenings, immunizations and blood pressure screenings.

"We are thrilled to be demoing a delicious Peruvian avocado and California Walnut Superfood Salad at Walmart Wellness Day events across the country," said Xavier Equihua, CEO and President of the Peruvian Avocado Commission. "This initiative will allow consumers to taste our delectable avocado and walnut recipe and inspire them to incorporate more nutrient-rich ingredients, such as Peruvian avocados and California walnuts, into their everyday cooking."

To support this initiative, AFP will be delivering mobile ads in a 5-mile radius around each Walmart location nationwide as well as geo-targeting consumers in each location on social media.
