Global Dance Party is a high-energy performance of cultural and contemporary dance and music. The performance features young local performers from STG's DANCE This celebrating the rich cultural traditions and artistic talent found in the Northwest. A not-to-be missed experience for all ages. Think Global, Dance local!

Featuring Vicious Puppies VPC is an aspiring Seattle based crew. Influenced and taught by members of Massive Monkees, each individual is an experienced breakdancer. Each member has their own individual styles that make them a unique family. The Radost Folk Ensemble The Radost Folk Ensemble brings color, energy and the precision of ethnic culture to the concert stage. Radost translates to "Joy" in all the Slavic languages and this group has presented the dance, music, and song of Eastern Europe to the Pacific Northwest since 1976. Seattle Youth Dance Collective (SYDC).

The young members of Seattle Youth Dance Collective present a new collaborative work created by with mentorship by SYDC faculty Amy O'Neal and Maya Soto, and guest mentors Tonya Lockyer and KT Niehoff. Seattle Youth Dance Collective was launched in 2012 for aspiring dance artists. Created for teens, and with teens, it fosters the creative, practical and digital tools they need to succeed in the 21st Century.

Shumba Marimba: Shumba Marimba is a group of eight enthusiastic teens who perform traditional and contemporary African marimba music. Ranging from ages 11 to 17, these talented musicians have performed all over the country sharing the sounds of African culture. Shumba, meaning "lion" in the Shona language, inspires their goal to enlighten and entertain. Performing together since 2003, the musical group has created a lively and vibrant performance that audiences of all backgrounds can enjoy.

Pacific Ballroom Junior Premier: Junior Premier Formation team is one of two competition teams at Pacific Ballroom Dance in Auburn, WA. It consists of dancers ranging in age from 12-15 years old. Under the direction of Christine France, the team performs several times a year at various events, including the company's Holiday and Spring Concerts. The team also competes annually at the Nationals Dancesport Championships in Provo, Utah where they are currently ranked as the National Junior Ballroom Formation Champions.

M.I.A. Misses in Action (choreographed by Daniel Cruz!): Originally performed as part of DANCE This 2013, Daniel Cruz auditioned and selected some of Seattle's best Hip Hop dancers for his M.I.A Misses in Action piece. We're thrilled to bring these vibrant dancers back to STG stages.

STG's mission is to make diverse performing arts and education an integral part of our region's cultural identity while keeping three historic venues, The Paramount, Moore and Neptune, alive and vibrant. STG presents a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz, to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers and family shows - at these three iconic theatres in Seattle and venues throughout the Puget Sound region and in Portland, Oregon.
