Utah Symphony to Perform Music of John Williams & U2 at Deer Valley Music Festival, 7/11

Music from iconic big screen movies will echo off the hillside on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:30 PM as guest conductor Jeff Tyzik leads the Utah Symphony in a performance of John Williams' classic soundtracks during week two of the Deer Valley Music Festival.

Considered to be one of the greatest film composers of all time, with a career that spanned more than six decades, Mr. Williams composed some of the most famous film scores in cinematic history including Superman, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

Famous and well-known music continues through the weekend as guest conductor Brent Havens leads the Utah Symphony through favorite tunes by pop rock group U2 on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 7:30 PM. This tribute to U2 will have you singing along to all your favorite songs from one of the world's greatest rock bands including "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "Where the Streets Have No Name," "With or Without You," and "Even Better than the Real Thing".

VIP packages for both Friday and Saturday performances will continue at this year's festival and include VIP parking, a pre-concert gourmet dinner at the resort, premium reserved seating, and access to the intermission reception. VIP package pricing includes a charitable contribution built into the various package options. Maximum chair height at Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater is nine inches from the ground. Gates will open to all ticket holders approximately two hours before the performance begins. Patrons must be present to save a spot in line. Unattended items will be removed. Valid picture ID is required to pick up tickets at will call. No ticket reprinting is available for general admission seating. Outside food and drinks are allowed at the venue, and there are a variety of concession services at the venue offered by Deer Valley Resort.
