Buffalo Philharmonic to Present Music of David Bowie, 3/30

BUFFALO, NY - Western New York fans of David Bowie will have a chance to come together and celebrate his towering musical legacy on Wednesday, March 30.
The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Jeans n' Classics will present "The Music of David Bowie" at 7:30 p.m. at Kleinhans Music Hall. A video montage and rock concert lighting will add to the show's atmosphere. Tickets range from $29-$49 with a limited number of $75 VIP tickets. Tickets are available by visiting bpo.org, calling (716) 885-5000 or going to the Kleinhans Music Hall box office during business hours.
Bowie fans are invited to come straight from work to enjoy a happy hour presented by Labatt, Flying Bison and Resurgence Brewing from 5 to 6:30 p.m. At 6:30, Buffalo News rock critic Jeff Miers will lead a panel discussion on Bowie's life and times. Joining him will be Ron Ehmke, a writer, performer, media artist, curator, and educator who has worked in the region since 1982; and Mark Norris, a musician who is also the Web Admin Associate Director and Editor at Buffalo State College.
