The Gilded Age is back for Season 3, and with it, a new and returning crop of Broadway talent. The New York-based costume drama is known for its vast array of theater actors, utilizing a total of 163 across its three seasons. According to reports, Faye Dunaway and Harvey Keitel will be starring together in a new supernatural romance film from director Jonathan Baker. Actor Andrew McCarthy of The Blacklist will also be appearing in the film. The plot of the movie, titled Fate, is being kept under wraps but is reported to be set at a 'Vista hotel', taking its inspiration from the historic Vista Theatre in Los Angeles, now owned by Quentin Tarantino.

While best known for his roles in film, Hurt got his start on the stage in the 1970s. He appeared on Broadway in Hurlyburly in 1984, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. Hurt also performed in various off-Broadway productions including Henry V, Fifth of July, Richard II and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

GURNEY’s Love Letters, directed by ROY MARSDEN, at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The play opened on 3 December 2020, the first day after the Prime Minister decreed that lockdown would end.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that actor Jerry Stiller has died at age 92. His son, Ben Stiller, said in a tweet that his father died of natural causes.

Rapeteta Theatre Company has announced its inaugural production Hurlyburly by David Rabe, coming in April 2020. The revival is directed by Pitr Strait of Torn Out Theatre (Hamlet, The Tempest) and performed at HB Studio's iconic Bank St Theatre in New York City. The cast will be announced in February 2020, starring women of color in the female roles embracing Rapeteta's mission to focus on the original intent of the play through the lens of today's moral values.

Broadway's Belasco Theatre will soon be home to an all new type of presentation. Netflix has announced Martin Scorsese's The Irishman will have a unique and historic theatrical run at the Belasco. The Irishman, starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, will screen at the famed theater from November 1 - December 1.
