Seduction (A Runaway's Journey Through The Dark Side): The Full Broadway Script – by Salvatore Caesar Scordato
Seduction In order to better portray the international problem of runaway, abducted and enslaved children, "Seduction", exploits the classic struggle between good and evil by tearing back the curtain to unveil what lurks behind the beautiful and seemingly serene middle class suburb of Springfield U.S.A. Mary, (a rebellious guitar playing teenager), has decided to run away from the dysfunctional and abusive home her desperate Mother created. The call of freedom, fame and fortune has enticed her to the exciting City of Sin, Las Vegas. For the purpose of spawning the Anti-Christ, Satan has transformed into human form and has been posing as Mr. Lusef Devile, President of the prominent "Diablo Entertainment Agency". Joe, (a decidedly unscrupulous character with a conscience), covets dreams of becoming an extraordinarily powerful talent agent while his good friend Eugene Grant holds grand aspirations of being the world's most famous movie star. Pledging the fulfillment of these desires, "The Devil", separately and without awareness of each other's involvement seduces the two friends into signing blood contracts and becoming his disciples. Mary has since sunk into the depths of homelessness and is barely managing to squeeze out a survival by performing her songs on The Strip for handouts from tourist. Not yet lost to Sin City's underbelly, she has unknowingly fallen easy prey to the corrupt and immoral bottom feeders of the Vegas night. As a means to the purpose of obtaining a first born child, Mr. Devil has empowered Joe and Eugene with spell binding abilities. Secretly and individually, he dispatches them with explicit, contrasting yet parallel orders to charm the homeless and still innocent runaway into surrendering her free will, career hopes and unconditional love over to either one or both of them. Subsequently, "Seduction" leads you through a maze of sexual and mental deception, manipulation, adultery, murder, divorce and scandal. Ultimately, "The Rock Opera" ends happily when Joe realizes that he has fallen deeply in love with Mary and refuses to hand over her child to Satan, confirming the tenant, "Good triumphs over Evil". During this adventure, Mary encounters a wide-ranging group of captivating characters. Besides Joe the Talent Agent, Eugene Grant the Movie Star and the Motorcycle Riding Prince of Darkness, there is the Cross-Dresser Makeover Artist, an Elvis Impersonator, a Gangster Assassin, Maggie the Whore plus a whole host of Beautiful Female Demons among others. "Seduction", will tantalize and enthrall you into a frenzy of emotions while at the same time luring you into its beautiful melodies, intricate choreography and heart pounding rhythms.
