Lighting Design For A Production Of A Streetcar Named Desire – by Jeremy Sinicki

Lighting Design For A Production Of A Streetcar Named Desire by Jeremy Sinicki

A Streetcar Named Desire, by Tennessee Williams, was a realized dramatic production presented by the University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance. It was performed in the H.P. Constans Theatre during fall 2009. The process for this production began early in the year with design meetings and evolved over the following nine months, culminating on opening night as a theatrical production. I served as the lighting designer for this production. During this process, I analyzed the script and worked with the director and design team to develop and execute our concept for this production. The process also included developing a lighting plot and cue score as well as hanging, focusing, and programming sessions. The conclusion of the process was a series of live performances with audiences during September 2009.
