Addy, I downloaded Can I Get an Amen, but haven't read it yet. I've got 3 or 4 library books on my Kindle I need to read first, and then the second 2 Hunger Games books. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! Right now I'm reading T is for Trespass by Sue Grafton. It's and easy summer "by the pool" read.

In the midst of "The Hunger Games." Late to the games I know, but so far I'm seeing that the movie was extremely faithful to it.

Recently finished "Kate Remembered" by A.Scott Berg. Found it at Dollar Tree years ago, stashed it and was going through boxes of books a few weeks back and rediscovered it. Made me want to have a Katharine Hepburn film festival.

Coming to the end of Raymond Chandler's THE LONG GOODBYE, which is one of the saddest novels I've ever read, as well as one of the best. Man oh man, even in my third read, it still packs a wallop.

Next up, hard to say. CATCH-22 is due for another go.

Just finished "Meet the Annas" by Robert Dunn. A fun read. He could have cut a bit of descrition regarding Dink's feelings for Anna. I was like "Ok, we get it. He loved her". But outside of that, I enjoyed the book.

I am reading Dragonfly in Amber - book 2 in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. I read the first one a few years ago, but am just now getting around to picking them up again. Has anyone read the series?

The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of The Window and Disappeared, by Jonas Jonasson

Loving it! Funny and clever, it's about a man who decides to start life over on his hundredth birthday and also reveals his Zelig-like past. Recommended!

Just started The Robber Bride, by Margaret Atwood. I love it. Her writing is so expressive and human, and always hilarious. If you haven't read The Blind Assassin, you must go find a copy!

I just finished a book called "Dreams of Joy" by Lisa See. It was a sequel to her book "Shanghai Girls" Both were very good, but also sort of depressing.

I love Lisa See! Read Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Shanghai Girls, Peony in Love and Dragon Bones. Dreams of Joy is the next one I'll pick up. Snow Flower is still my favorite thus far (though the movie sucked).

It's easy to read certain books fast. I'm currently on Night Train to Lisbon, by Pascal Mercier - a bit of a slog.

Pratchett is a very smooth read. Plus I had all day between getting my rush ticket and actually seeing the show (minus time spent watching a movie)
