At the end of one of the songs in Urinetown (maybe What is Urinetown? I'm not sure) theres a bunch of wind instruments playing a minor chord over and over again, and all of a sudden out of nowhere the chord turns major for one note and its really funny =D
One that instantly comes to my mind is on the SIDE SHOW cast album, in "Who WIll Love Me As I Am?" when Emily Skinner sings "Send me flowers or a telegram" in the last chorus of the song. Chills everytime!
In the Jersey Boys album, Nick Massi (played by the fab J.Robert Spencer) says "You sell a hundered-million records and see how you handle it." I just love it when he says it. I'm not quite sure why, though.
Diahann Caroll's voice giving out on the last notes of the song "I Never Has Seen Snow" on the cast album of HOUSE OF FLOWERS and the composer, Howard Arlen, filling in for her in falsetto.
