Hooray! The scourge of Broadway is closing. But also very sad because we won't be able to make nasty remarks about the show anymore. It's very bittersweet.

If the laws of conduct in Shakespeare's time were still in effect, when audience members could interact freely and vocally with the cast, even demanding changes or substitutions, think of all the performances that could have been made more memorable by audiences unanimously cheering out "Give us some Game of Thrones!"
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Fans of the book (including Capote himself) thought the movie a travesty. Holly was trailer trash trying to be fancy; Audrey Hepburn was way too elegant for the character. Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe for Holly. This show (I didn't see it) supposedly was faithful to the book. A good idea, too bad it didn't come together.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
