I never thought to use site:www.broadwayworld.com/board (which is a good idea), but I usually Google the search term + broadwayworld and can find what I want. But yeah, always use Google.
If you remember anything about that the thread you're looking for, like a poster's name who commented or a phrase someone wrote, add that do, which should help narrow down your search.
