I haven't watched American Idol in years, probably for the better, but I don't understand what the judges are listening to. That was horrid.

That video reminds you how the first 5 minutes of that musical are the most thrilling 5 minutes you'll ever spend in a theater. Sadly it's followed by 200 more minutes of mind numbing boredom.

I've only seen The Lion King on tour and was resigned to the idea that they would tour a lot of the animal costumes I saw on the Tonys (i.e. the elephant). I admit that I cried when I turned in my seat and saw that damn elephant.
