I just got back from seeing Bunnicula, and I was so impressed. The entire cast was wonderful, with such great voices. Standouts were Robert Anthony Jones as Harold the dog and Prescott Seymour as Chester the cat. The staging was inventive and lively, and the 65 minutes flew by. I was actually only kidding about borrowing a kid. Even though Bunnicula is based on a children's book (by Deborah and James Howe), the adults in the audience outnumbered the grammar school set. And yes, because the book to the musical was written by Charles Busch, you can expect a character to appear in drag, and you won't be disappointed. Reasonable tickets can be found on TDF, if you're a member. Just a well-done production all around!
