Does anyone have any advice on which might garner me better seats for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
From what I can tell, TKTS will be cheaper (50% off v 35%) but how good/bad can I expect the tkts seats to be?
I know there is no guarantee, but it seems like its on TKTS often, and there seem to be a decent number of tix left for the performance I'm interested in.
And since I'm asking: how high is the stage at the Booth? Some ticket options have been quite close!

I don't know the specifics behind this show's tickets, but I have found better luck on Broadwaybox when buying my tickets. I have found (especially for plays) that have very decent discounts that don't require me to spend all day online at TKTS, which I've only done a few times because I personaly find it frustrating.
I can tell you that I've sat pretty close at the Booth (I think 3rd row) and my view was fine. However, if I'd had the choice, I would have picked 8 or behind.

Well, there's a "play only" window, so the wait won't be long at all.

Well, like I said, I tried it a couple times, obviously before the "play only" window, so I was just going of what I knew in an attempt to answer your question.

The stage isn't too high. I was in the front row for Other Desert Cities and could see well without any real neck strain.
FWIW - Saw Woolf from the Mezzanine, second row from the back. The performances here are strong and are completely filling the house, so I wouldn't be afraid to pick a more cost-conscious ticket. If that best deal is at the booth, I'd go for it there.

I've had great luck with TKTS, and usually choose this over broadway box, unless there's a great seat I find online. I watched Woolf by buying through TKTS, and got 9th row center orch. The people around me also got their seats through TKTS. This was for a weds matinee. I lined up about 15 mins before they opened.
Well, it will be on Tuesday...so keep your fingers crossed for me. (I'm also only looking for one ticket, so maybe I'll get lucky!)

Broadway Box/Playbill - all those with discount codes offer very defined seats - often the last desirable in a given section, either the last two rows or the very far left or right. Since V Woolf is not selling too well, it may be more forgiving, but I would go with TKTS. In addition to the Plays Only line, I usually go later. Certainly, the seats won't be as good and options may dwindle, but I'm not into carving out that time midday when I'm in NYC. Should still be a better option than a discount code.
When I saw V Woolf in the fall, the balcony was so empty I just went down to the front row. It was a Saturday evening!
Thanks for all the advice -- I played around with ticket availability through bwaybox and found a few first row tix on the side (but not too extreme) and others throughout the orch.
But, as money is tight, I think I'll take my chances with TKTS.

Used the play line today at TKTS, waited about 10 minutes in the rain. Walked away with a ticket for Riw H, center.
