It's nice that Mr. Martins can speak his mind AND threaten violence "bite our heads off" but people having a full range of reactions to a piece in the Times is somehow egregious and off putting. Isn't that rich.
This amazes me. Young people are so entitled. They want it both ways. They want to openly express their thoughts and opinions in a public forum. Then, when they are challenged, they say they are bullied.
I just dont get it. If you are not open to be criticized, then please do not tweet. Go away.
First off he tweeted mean things about us. Second off, I stated this is a positive thread. Third off, someone even tweeted him and said this was a positive thread. Fourth off, how DARE YOU compare anything anyone has said here to what happened to Tyler Clemente.
Reacting to someone's opinion that they put on their PUBLIC Twitter account on the PUBLIC internet is absolutely nothing like what happened to Tyler Clementi.
This thread is so inane. Why would a comment like his bother any of you to any extent. You are saying that he isn't open to being criticized, but you are ganging up (or whatever this is) on him for his annoyance with you. I'm not even mad (a little annoyed maybe), but I sincerely just don't understand.
(the collective "you", no one in particular. Second person sounds aggressive.)
