Anyone else in the will call line roughly (and I kid you not) 5 to 6 hundred people deep? I've been in line half an hour and it has barely moved.
Can anyone report whether this is starting on time? Looking pretty hopeless on my end. Giving it another 30, then canceling the charge on my credit card. Seriously, the worst attempt of "organization" I have ever seen at a theater.
--- sorry meant people, not feet deep. Apparently there is only one box office person to handle 6 to 7 hundred people. The line is growing by the minute.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

No initial crowd control or signage for will call and people are lined up in both directions. Management just came out the front and told everyone who was waiting on one side of the line we all thought was will call that the line was around the corner. And THEN when we went around the corner, the line literally stretched all the way around the theater. There are at least 900 people wrapped around the theater in line.
If you're not dead set on seeing it, disputing the charge is the right move. There is no way if they hold the curtain for this line that the show is starting before 9:30. There are 4 people working the box office.
Are they at least offering free piragua to everyone in line?

Lin-Manuel Miranda is tweeting that they won't start the show yet. But, I do feel for everyone because this is going to be a long ass night now. And bad if you have to catch a train or bus out of the city.
I only counted three at the BO....and roughly 60 people surrounding the BO ahead of the 900 person line. Something tells me this reunion will be paying back a good chunk of money.
I wonder what type of curfew a performance like this has.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have some of the actors assist at Will Call.

It said that the concert wasn't worth it and allegedly a fist-fight broke out.

Maybe ITH is cursed? The tour got terrible pre-show publicity in Houston and played to tiny houses. The movie got put into development hell. The reunion sounds like a big cluster***k. Wow... :-/ And I love this show...

Hopefully people will be able to get their money back for this.

If the venue is at fault, they should issue a 50% refund to patrons at their OWN expense (still providing 100% of the profits to the charities).
