The reunion concert seems a cottage industry, albeit one that's used to fund worthy causes/charities. I am always amazed how quickly they begin to crop up.
I keep expecting the TARZAN reunion, or maybe BROOKLYN.

Then maybe I can get my hopes up for a Marie Christine reunion.
It is sad because it doesn't allow the shows to gain any kind of remembrance status ( for lack of a better word). There should be some kind of mandatory period... like at least 10 years. This is the time for the school productions and community theater groups to be enjoying the material.
I look forward to numerous community and high school productions with nary a Latino in sight - like all the lily-white productions of Once On This Island.
In the interview Lin-Manuel did on NBC this week he said that part of the timing was a conversation he had with Karen Olivo about how if they do it at all it should be while they were all young enough to perform it.
