Stephen Findle and Elton John

Either Elton John was working secretly with Stephen Findle - or great minds think alike. We've seen some of what Findle was working on - and there was a Lion King reference - so I'm looking forward to the possible collaboration.

I was excited back in 2010 hearing about his Animal Farm musical, but that cannot be the "children's musical" that is aiming to come to Broadway at the end of the year. Animal Farm isn't a children's book and should not be a children's musical; that would be a shame to me.

That's what I was thinking. How in the world could this be a CHILDREN'S musical? "Here's a story you've heard from your mommies about some pigs who are actually commies..."

The article seemed to indicate that this new musical will indeed be a children's musical, but I think the correlation between this and Animal Farm is merely based on the fact that Elton has been working on a musical Animal Farm which has been discussed in interviews. I anticipate that the show mentioned today is a completely different project.
