Is "A Very Short Song" from "My Lifelong Love" overdone as an audition song? I always end up picking songs that are overdone because obscure songs are so hard to find. I know, hard to believe, right? Any other suggestions for audition songs? Not for any particular show or style, just trying to build up my repetoire. I'm a soprano, G to a high D.
I think I'm familiar with it. Is that song written by Georgia Stitt? In that case, I doubt it's overdone. I've never seen anyone sing it live nor is it all over YouTube. You should be safe with it.
