I always had a feeling they would pull the closing notice, they did the same thing with De La Guarda. That said, while the crowd is definitely more bridge and tunnel, I went to the fifth anniversary performance and thought it was still in great shape, and everyone I take with me (I've gone I think 6 or 7 times) ends up going back on their own. If there's nothing going to replace it, let it run!
"Hey little girls, look at all the men in shiny shirts and no wives!" - Jackie Hoffman, Xanadu, 19 Feb 2008
I was there about two weeks ago and the audience was ATROCIOUS. A group of German teenage boys were banging on the pool and yelling at the girls; some guido was trying to impress his date by grabbing/pulling on the giant piece of foil that swings over the audience, two 15 year olds making out the entire time right next to me.
All in all, a miserable experience which is too bad because it was my third time at the show and it really is a remarkable experience. The audiences they're bringing in now will keep me FAR away.

When I went for the third time about 4 months ago the crowd killed it for me. It's all bridge and tunnel trash. I'm not sure how the show is being marketed to these people but it ruined my entire experience. One guy next to me was rubbing on the girls' breasts and crotch during the water part. People seemed like they were on the verge of fighting the whole time for no apparent reason. It was horrible and it sucks because when it first opened I loved the show.
Don't anyone start in on me about all the people losing their jobs either.

Yep, horrible horrible horrible B&T trash something I'm VERY afraid that SNM will be in a few years.

Why would anyone start in on that, since they're not - but now that you've brought it up - why do you want people to lose their jobs? The show's not for you any more. So don't go.
It's like all those people that want Chicago to close. Why should they? They're making money, and the people who go enjoy it.
