When I saw Once back in October, Cristin said at the stage door that both her and Steve would be, at that time, taking their final bows together around March. I guess that was 3 months ago though, so plans change! She did say that she couldn't imagine continually doing the show with anyone else, though.

Cristin did not extend. She will be leaving in March barring any last minute changes. I'm not sure the exact date, sorry.

I wonder if they'll simply promote the current Girl standby, Laura Dreyfuss, to the role full-time. I've heard nothing but great reviews from people that have seen her in the role.

Omg acl they should. Laura has an amazing voice.. I also saw her in Hair where she rocked out . I can't thinkk of anyone who would be better.
