I saw it in Philadelphia in 2007 (I think?) and thought it was cute. I've wondered what, if any, changes were made to the script after Steve Jobs died.

I saw the first two shows. I didn't see the 2007 run in Philadelphia, so I can't compare the two. The first act is better than the second act. In Act two the show goes really heavily towards farce (Jobs is infected with the "windows virus" and there is a light saber battle during the ending courtroom scenes) and I would have liked for them to continue the path Act 1 took, which had a good balance between humor, truth, and fiction. So the second half of the show's book needs some work.

Leslie Kritzer and Diana DeGarmo are fabulous in their supporting roles of Myrtle and Sally. If this show moves to off Broadway or Broadway, it would be a nice if somehow the four principle actors from the Raleigh run (Darren Ritchie, Stanley Bahorek, Degarmo and Kritzer) are included. There's great chemistry between them.

I think Stanley is the star of the show. His act 1 numbers, "I Am Just a Nerd," "Whatever it Takes," and "Windows Rap" are standouts, with the rap really needing to be seen by all. It's hysterical. Oh and Cole Escola is fantastic in numerous supporting roles. It's a cast of only 9, so everyone with the exception of Ritchie and Bahorek do double or triple duty for drive by type roles.

Watching the show I pictured it at New World Stages. It has the same niche vibe of an Avenue Q or Toxic Avenger. I've got my fingers crossed because I do think it's deserving of a debut in NYC.
