I think the Keenan-Bolgers are very talented but I think this goes to show when you are nice to people, and a joy to work with people put in a good word for you and look forward to working with you.

And when you are a great driver of social media! Both of the K-Bs are so fun to watch on Instagram.
What?? Jess doesn't even cover the role...that would be super odd since they were holding numerous auditions to find someone new. But if it is, congrats to him.
What's Celia's Instagram? I follow Andrew didn't know Celia had one.
Celia has always seemed so sweet and genuine. I was standing outside of PATSC shortly after the TONYS waiting to go in, she walked by and said, "Those TOMS are snazzy", I replied after a laugh with "Thanks" she smiled and told myself and my mom "You're quite welcome. Enjoy the show".
Just back from a presentation at the Colonial Theatre in Boston. Andrew was indeed on hand, as was Carolee Carmello as Mrs. Tuck. Three songs were sung from the show. Also on hand were members of the creative team, inculding the book's author, the musical's author Claudia Shear, a video message from Casey Nicholaw and the set designers.
Cupid-- the songs were... mediocre. I guess I was expecting an 11 o'clock powerhouse song in the mix, especially when Carolee was announced early in the evening. Lyrics were good, but all three songs sounded alike. It should be noted that all were accompanied by one pianist, no full orchestrations. My overall impression was... "awe, sweet." But having said that, I'm sure there's work ahead. The set renderings they showed were very impressive. Interestingly, the pre-B'way run here is being pushed back from May/June to end of July/August.
It's disappointing to hear that. It'd be a shame if Carolee's voice was wasted on another subpar score right after Scandalous. I'm optimistic, though, that the Boston tryout will allow them to improve and give them the time to write some better music. I'm still definitely looking forward to this. Thanks for your thoughts.
Good for Andy if it is in fact him who is taking over! What a high school graduation gift. Thought it was going to be someone from outside of the company, but good for him. Wonder who the next Romeo will be.
