A comedy about love, sex, betrayal, and a man with one hell of a voice.
Roy is handsome, romantic and the perfect lover; just ask all the women he's left behind. When Anna, a flamboyant actress, turns up at the house of sisters Jean and Linda, she stirs up old secrets and poses some new questions. Now his wives and girlfriends have joined forces with one goal in mind - to find Roy. All will be revealed but not until the Fourth of July!
I hesitate to bring this up given that the original poster is an obvious troll...but..
I've been to that Theatre Palisades twice, and BOTH experiences were PAINFUL.
Not only were the productions (of two otherwise great plays) tiresome and dull, but the general atmosphere was rife with worst kind of unfriendly-local-amateur-theatre snobbery.
I've been to theatre all over the US and UK and have never felt so unwelcomed as a paying audience member. It was particularly hurtful given that I was born and raised just outside of the Palisades.
I'm all for supporting community theatre, but this place horrid.
Curious, Almira, but I live in The Palisades and, while I never haven't been to the local theater, what exactly were the audience reactions you found hurtfull?
