It's way too early to tell at this point. There could even be the potential possibility that it won't even come to Broadway after the tour. There was a little show a couple of years back that was also based on an 80's movie. It announced a pre Broadway tour but never came to Broadway. That show was Dirty Dancing.

based on the tour reviews, it shouldn't come to Broadway. It needs a lot of work.
A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.
It got a terrible review in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. It got mixed reviews in Pittsburg, some were excellent. Audiences seem to be loving it. It's way too soon to judge it, as there's plenty of time for it to improve.
