where are the poles/seat obstructions in the Shubert Theatre balcony?

I usually sit in the orchestra but may end up in the balcony for Matilda. I know there are poles that obstruct the view from some seats up there, but I can't find a seating chart which indicates where they are. Does anyone know?

If I remember correctly, 2 are in front of row E in the center section.

BUMP.

Anyone knows, exactly, where are the poles? And how obstructed is the view if you are behind or next to them?

From the picture, it appears that two of them are in in the center section, but does anyone know which row? Also, it appears there is one in the balcony left section... But I am not certain about it. If there is one in this section, does anyone know if it's right on the aisle? or a few seats from it?

It would be great to know, because I'm planning on buying tickets and I wouldn't like to be right behind one of the poles.

Thank you.

I was all the in the last row of the balcony, on the right, last seat on the end. There was a pole a few rows down, you get use to it after a few minutes. Id rather have orchestra seats

Thank you very much. So, I think it's safe to say that there are two poles in the center section, close but not on the aisle, and two poles in the sides, one on each side, around seats 13-16.

Thanks again.

I got seats in the balcony as well. Seats G111-113 and seats E101-104 for a different date. I called the box office and they said the views were not considered partial view because they do not sell those online. The guy said if there are any poles, they will not be obstructing the view. Why do I not believe him? Lol... A little annoyed now bc there were lots of seats available at the time I bought them. Had I known there were poles, I would have chosen my seats more carefully. Agree with your other post Fran_mex about having a site like seat monkey with compilation of all the bad seats.

The worst seats I've had in the Shubert were in the last row of the balcony. No, not even the last row. There are two extended seats behind the last official row, right next to the lighting booth. They are so far and so high up, but the worst is that one of the poles strikes right through centre stage. My recommendation, if you are unfortunate enough to get these seats, would be to ask an usher during intermission to occupy one of the standing room positions (that is, unless MATILDA has been selling standing room. I know MEMPHIS was not). Best of luck!

I saw Matilda last month--sat in the last row of the center balcony, next to the lighting booth--yes there is a pole smack in the middle of these seats, more so the seat on the aisle. Also, if the person in front of you is tall, or leans forward--it can be an issue.
