I was watching Field of Dreams recently and James Earl Jones plays a reclusive author based on J.D. Salinger but renamed Terence Mann for the movie. I thought the name sounded familiar.
Killers! Murderers! You liars! All of you liars! You're only happy when you can see something die! Why don't you kill yourselves to be happy! You and your God's country! Freedom! I pity you! You are three dear, sweet, dead men! Butchers! Murderers!
Seeing Namo's info: your search online could not have been terribly thorough.
He's delightful in the production, btw. (And he's been around a LOOOOOOOONG ass time -- and easily one of my favorites.)

My best friend had a massive crush on Mr. Mann (lol @ Mr. Mann) in our teens. This is the reason he dragged me to see A CHORUS LINE: THE MOVIE with him about a half dozen times. The crotch and butt shots in that movie were amazing and to a young gay man the film's one true saving grace.
I was just looking at his bio on IBDB and realized I'd been a fan since way back in the day of Barnum (80-81) The man is 61, and has had a long and varied b'way, tv and film career.

Edited: just got a message that this was about someone else, not him. Sorry!

He's one of my favorites too. Great actor and magnificent voice! I've seen him in several things (Addams Family, Beauty and the Beast and the Boublil/Schonberg musical concert). Glad his career is still going strong. His wife is awesome too! Look at the pictures of her in Pippin right now. Charlotte still has the body and face of a woman half her age! Terry doesn't look his age either. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right. What a talented family! Hope we see them performing for many more years!
Got it, sorry! Just deleted and apologize for the confusion.
