In case anyone was curious, to answer my own question, I walked up to the box office at 6:30 last night and the guy seemed surprised when I asked for rush tickets. I got second row center orchestra. Great seat!

It was $32 which was strange since everything said $30 but obviously I wasn't going to worry about $2 so I didn't say anything.

Went today at noon and got a ticket just fine. And yes, student ID is required.

last production seen: "pippin" at the music box theatre.
