Just read that my favorite ensemble performer, Robert Hartwell, is leaving "Nice Work" to work for "Cinderella". Does anyone know Robert's last performance at "Nice Work"? Good wishes to him for a fabulous run and looking forward to seeing "Cinderella" even more now. He is just amazing!! "Lady Be Good" just won't be the same.
He is seriously one of the best ensemble performers I have ever seen. He just has the old fashion gypsy presence and is so watchable. I believe his last show is coming up, whether it's next week or the week after. I know Nick Spangler already left Book of Mormon for it, maybe it was too hard being a swing and having overlapping rehearsals, whereas Robert has one track and can do double duty, rehearse Cinderella during the day and perform Nice Work at night.
According to many of the cast member's tweets, today was actually his last show.
He truly is talented, and also so nice. Had met him after Memphis one time and then ran into him while he was shopping around at the Flea Market a few months ago and he remembered me!
