I think it's pretty easy to get rush tix right now. I was at the box around 630 tonight to buy tix for 2 weeks later and the lady in front of me was able to still get rush tix, $40 cash only!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I went to the box office today at 2pm and got an orch seat in the sixth row (on the extreme side) for this evening.
"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott
Went to the box office at opening and got first row, side aisle. But I would not recommend that seat--the stage is extremely high. Was able to move to mid-orch center for Act II in one of the very few empty seats. Probably better to arrive an hour or two before curtain for farther back, better-view seat. Delightful show, though, from whatever seat.
