Has anyone been to see the show and can tell me where to sit? I know there are tables, that seem to be sort of in the center, and then seats around the perimeter, and the band on the right, but where exactly is the playing space? Where would the best seats be? Thanks!

There really isn't a bad seat in this space. It is tiny! I've seen living rooms bigger than this. The actors roam all over the space - on stage, on the tables, on the steps. Sometimes you gotta find them. I would recommend anywhere on the perimeter, though.

Yeah, it's hard to say where the best place is when they are all over the place. I guess if you really don't want to be too close to action, the sitting in the non table seats 2-20 would be your best bet, from what I remember. The 100 section they come up in the aisles a couple of times.

If you want to get really up-close and personal with the actors, sitting at one of the tables would be interesting. They do stand on the tables/chairs every once in a while. The room is tiny, though, so it might be a bit claustrophobic? Idk, that's how I felt.

In front of the shorter rows of seats, there's a pool table (which they get on for a few numbers) and in front of the longer rows of seats, there's a bar (which they also get on for some of the songs).

Personally, I'd sit anywhere along the side with the longer rows of seats. The actors seem to play to this side more often than not, so you get to see all their faces, and it's easy to follow the constant action without having to crane your head around (like I imagine you'd have to do if you were seated at a table in the middle). I sat in the last row on this side, maybe seat 108ish?, had a great view of everything.

Hope that helps.

I preferred the seats on the perimeter. My seat was Row B on the aisle to the right of the entrance and the actors hung out by the pole right next to me often, but the view of the action was sometimes awkward. The best seats I thought were in the large bank in the center where the band would be on your left.

Sitting at the tables made the patrons a part of the show. Some looked a little uncomfortable with Will Swenson standing on their table. It did create the feeling of being in CBGB, though, albeit without the stank of old beer. It's an amazing show and I plan to see it once more before it closes.

Just saw the show and loved. Great cast and music. I sat in A12, which is the short row right in front of the pool table. They played to us a lot, which I loved but stay away if you don't like that. See it, though. See it.
