When the bottom of the barrel is so crowded that it nearly reaches the brim, how can one choose the worst among them?
For that reason, I'll have to name more than a few that vie for that dubious distinction, thankful for the ones I've mercifully forgotten, or better yet, missed:
Through the Yellow Hour, Lonely, I'm Not, Detroit, What Rhymes With America?, Assistance, Heresy, Bad Jews, If There Is...., Dead Accounts, The Performers, The Anarchist, Heartless, Medieval Play, We Play for the Gods, Murder Ballad, Yosemite, Once .....
I assume the call for ONCE was sincere as I was a fan of the movie and expected a smooth transition to stage - NOT SO! It did nothing for me and thought all the Czechs were like Eastern European cartoons. I'm still convinced Glen Hansard hates it.
Worst? I'm sure DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER (though fun) was not as good and THE BEST MAN - really? If they didn't cast every other Emmy winner from 10-20 years ago, there would have been nothing there.
