Theatre is not just some petty extracurricular activity I do in my spare time. It is my life, it is my passion, it is who I am. Nothing and no one can change that or take it away from me. All the world is MY stage.
and yet I doubt the show itself will still be running by then.
A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.

That's probably the best song in the score. I guess they chose the OCR over a continuing run. I ran into one of the cast yesterday (won't say who), who said the show's running through January was not very likely. Too bad--it's not a great show by any means, but parts were enjoyable and it's a darned sight better than SCANDALOUS.
God, I get chills every single time I hear that song. I don't care how much may people knock this score, but I really think it's absolutely stunning. Hearing "Where Are All the People" as sung by Rob McClure on this cast recording is an absolute treat.
I was able to get the actual CD (it's available at the theatre, i stopped by because i was seeing Peter and the Starcatcher across the street), and I love it! Chaplin really has an excellent score, even if some people have said that it wasn't that good.
