I find it very interesting how Scandalous made more money last week, but went down in attendance significantly. Guess they weren't giving away tickets like they had been.
"I don't want the pretty lights to come and get me."-Homecoming 2005
"You can't pray away the gay."-Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy.
Book of Mormon: top ticket price is irelevant. Average ticket price went up 11.2 percent. Simple.

It is really bad form to post something like that, mybigsplash. If it is true, the cast is entitled to hear it from the production itself, and not read it on a message board.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
Those numbers for Scandalous are simply terrible, especially for Thanksgiving week. Leap of Faith's numbers weren't even that bad. I'd say Chaplin would be next considering their numbers were pretty bad as well. They might stay open for the holidays and close after New Year's.
A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.
It's one thing to brag about knowing "inside" information, but announcing on a public forum that a show is closing before the cast finds out is pretty cruel.
I NEVER EVER EVER thought I'd say this, but I feel badly for Kathie Lee. I mean, if promoting a show on network television every day doesn't at least generate enough ticket sales to stay open a couple months...
And before anyone jumps all over me, I really couldn't stand her with Regis but I think she's a fun morning drunk on Today.
Congratulations to "Chicago" for a fantastic week! from RC in Austin, Texas
Visiting New York City for the seventh time from June 7-10, 2013. Shows I'll be seeing: Friday, June 7th: "Chicago", Saturday, June 8th @ 2pm: "The Nance", "Pippin": 8pm and Sunday, June 9th: "Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike": 2pm.
Wicked's closing Saturday. No announcement yet, but a friend of a friend who hands out bottled water to the cast and crew overheard Marc Platt in the men's room last night.
