Yes...please. Let's complain about a concert that NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO GO TO and is going to feature one of the best Broadway sopranos around and one of the world's great baritones who can actually shift between opera and classic musical theatre.
It doesn't appear that they've announced casting for Carrie or Jigger yet.
And I agree with the "it's a concert" sentiment. Take SOUTH PACIFIC. An African American actor and a woman in her late forties/early fifties would never be cast in a major production, but I'm sure glad I got to hear Brian Stokes Mitchell and Reba McEntire sing that score.
