It looks like a Precious Moments collection designed by Tim Burton.

So true!!!
The teapots in the background remind me of Alice In Wonderland.

I didn't understand why the trailer was posted on the main board, either. I guess because of Wicked?

Did Quiche2 get deleted? I miss him already.

Why is the munchkin looking so intently at the monkey's ass?
That's a little creepy, especially since he's holding a long stick.

The poster is poorly Photoshopped and overly busy.

So the flying monkeys are two "types," like Gremlins?

(I haven't read the screenplay, which I'm trying to avoid so I can see the movie fresh.)

In this poster, there's a "warm and fuzzy" hotel bellhop monkey, and a goth warrior vampire monkey.

As for the teapots and china doll, they are from the China Country, which was actually in the first book (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) by L. Frank Baum. It wasn't included in the MGM movie, but it's part of the original story.

I'd rather see a movie version of Silver Shoes and The Powder of Life.

If you're a OZ fan and haven't read these two wonderful novels you don't know what you're missing!

I am checking out Silver Shoes. If it isn't good, I am coming after both of you.

I'm pretty sure that the "Munchkin" is actually the Wizard. Seeing as though he has a suit, cane, and top hot, isn't that pretty much the Wizard?

Seeing as James Franco is playing the Wizard and that Munchkin looks exactly like James Franco I think you must be right!!!!!!

What's with the giant china set? Some Oz reference I'm not getting?

To quote Besty, "As for the teapots and china doll, they are from the China Country, which was actually in the first book (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) by L. Frank Baum. It wasn't included in the MGM movie, but it's part of the original story."

The MGM story waters down Dorothy's travels through OZ. I remember China Country being pretty scary as a kid, but I haven't read it in probably 15 years.

Thanks and oops, I didn't see best12's post! My eyes are playing tricks on me.

Yea, it's not the wizard staring at the monkey's anus, the wizard is in the balloon.

But if it was the wizard that would be even creepier.
