I didn't love his Melchior, but I will listen to that man sing ANY day of the week. I wasn't planning on catching this again (was hoping to catch Gavin on tour) but this might just change my mind.
When would you think Creel and Gertners' last performance would be? I had tickets for the Portland engagement in January, I'm still excited to see the show! I wonder who their replacements will be?
Yes! I saw the news about Creel after I posted my "dilemma". He will not make it to Boston! Now if I'm just willing to wait in SRO agian.....hmmmm.
I would guess that Gavin won't do much of the tour after Thanksgiving: they open in London in mid-Jan, yes? (or previews) So I would imagine he'll need to be there in rehearsal soon.
The San Francisco run ends Dec. 30. I would think they'd end with the San Fran. run, have a week or two off and then head over to London. They start previews Feb. 25 & open March 21.
Am I the only one who thinks Matt Doyle is a weird choice? I just don't see him as Elder Price. I know most of the guys who have played the role and they're very smiley and sweet guys in real life. Matt doesn't come across quite that way...
On the Broadway.com & BWW announcement yesterday, it said that Cale Krise was Cunningham along with the official BOM website. On Playbill announcement today, it said that Will Blum was Cunningham and he's now on the official BOM website.
No. Cale and Will switch off every other week and the website is updated accordingly (s well as the poster outside). Broadway.com and BWW probably only checked the website when they wrote the story and didn't realize there were two Cunninghams.
Mark Evans as Price and Chris O'Niel as Elder Cunningham were briefly up on the Mormon website, but was immediately taken down. Link below should be a print screen.
